| Good Morning Everyone
Power came back on a few minutes ago, internet was down until about the same time
Hopefully I can get some clean up done today and move all the tree limbs off of the front yard
In reality we were very lucky as the straight line winds didn't do as much damage as they could have, haven't been to the neighboring town yet where the tornado actually touched down, but there are reports of houses and mobile homes being destroyed,we know there were 4 related deaths due to the storms.
Today we are just under a severe weather watch so it should be a much easier day for all of us.

| In one way it was an exciting night, the air was charged with electricity and one can't help but enjoy the storm as such,I hate the tornados and the straight line winds, but I love the feeling in the air before they hit if that makes any sense.
I drove through a good part of it taking the daughter to her special night
I am very proud of her,she got the award for going above and beyond in manners, kindness and being helpful to others.
It is still very dark here and looks like we are in for some more rain, which we will appreciate

| Well crap, looks like we are winding up for round 2,didn't get any of the limbs picked up before the wind came up again and down came some more.
Guess I will be inside for the day

| What a wonderful award for your daughter to receive! It is really great that her school recognized her for that achievement. I wish I could come help you clean up your yard as at sounds like it is quite a mess. Really glad that you and your family are all right. That must be very scary. I do know what you mean about the beauty of an approaching storm...all the colors seem extremely vivid and the air smells fresh and clean. Although, I must say, I have never encountered a storm like you have there. I hope you have secured your fingers back on. | |

| She so wants to be important somewhere and notice how pissy she gets when I won't respond to her.Now she wants me to cut all my fingers off which still leaves my thumb to do this | |

| Good Morning Everyone
What a different day today is than yesterday and the day before, the sun is shining back down on us,the birds are back at the feeders and flowers have lifted their heads to catch the sun.
School is done for my kids and summer vacation starts for them now, think it is going to be a long hot one for them,as they usually spend a month at the beach with my older daughter, this year we decided they would stay here. BAD IDEA I think, but we shall see

| Sounds like a lot of fun. My kids are not out of school until June 20ish. I can not wait to bake myself on the beach! | |

| She's a tea lover like me. Thanks for the warning though. In other good news...... She asked for her vacation pay so now we're only $180 behind! Slowly but surely we're getting back to normal. | |
