Today is my brother's graduation from the Police Foundations course in college. And my mother has asked me to make his cake because she is too sick to do it. I'm nervous about this one. I am going to make what appears to be the gift box that you get your Invicta watch in. Invicta is a designer collectors watch that my brother has too many of and loves so I have to get it right. I am attaching a picture of what it is going to look like, and when I'm done today, I'll attach that picture too. Wish me luck!

My newest challenge Invict10

I am most concerned about making the stitching look real.

Love it Bullet! That will be awesome and he'll love the 'personal' touch.

About the stitching.........can you experiment on something else first? say a slice of bread with icing? try running a thin line, then using skewer (hell, even a thin nail....clean of course  ) try 'punching' the stitches.....remembering to wet the point each time to avoid pull back.

Can't wait to see it done!

You are a genius... I never would have thought of that... Thank you.

You can do it. I can't wait to see. I would be overjoyed if someone took the time to do something like that for me, no matter how it turned out.

Very Happy

Good luck, though you won't need it, I've seen the other cakes you've made and they were awesome. Can't wait to see pics of this one. Smile

It is done! See above for comparison.

And only two hours of labour.
