Its raining....... so here are some pics.
She is almost 4 months old and probably close to 37 or 38 pounds.
She is a REALLY good puppy, I have been kind of going through some stuff recently and have not been able to spend the time with her that I usually do and she has been a complete angel.
The walking is going much better, in general I am very happy with her I think she will grow into a really nice dog (exactly the type of dog I wanted)

We ordered a DNA test from dnamydog.com
I know they are not as reliable as the blood samples but I figured what the hell. I am not going to send a picture just the DNA sample.
It should be interesting to see what comes back.
I have my suspicious about what her actual mix (from what my husband was told) is and I don't think I will ever know 100% but I thought it would be a neat idea to see what comes back.

Knowing her actual breed will help you watch her as she matures for problems she might some day have . Not only being fun to know it will be beneficial to .

I always thought the canine DNA tests were laughable.

The test came back and stated that this purebred AKC CH American Staffordshire Terrier is a mix of Border Collie, Boston Terrier, and Bulldog.

Someone on another group had their obviously mixed dog come up purebred poodle! The dog was so far from even a poodle mix it wasn't funny!

"""""" drum roll """"""""""
she came back 30 to 70% staffy 15 to 30 % boxer 5 to 10% bulldog
Which I think is a pretty good result considering they had no pic or description of her. But obviously she has SOME mastiff in her, but at least she is not a poodle LMAO

More pics from today
On our way to the dog park She likes to sit in the front seat lol
And a video...
with a couple adult labs and a golden mix?? There was an entire family (mom dad and 2 kids) walking with there toy breed dach? but they wouldn't put him down they were just walking around carrying him....... I thought that was a bit odd.
I LOVE watching dogs interact, I think its my new hobby. Hopefully Violets temperament will stay this way and I can continue taking her to interact like this, I really enjoy it.

Thanks guys 8)
I have a question for BBE (or anyone else with a large breed who has an opinion)
For her spay, our vet said to wait until she is 7 to 9 months (instead of 6 months) because she was such a big dog, but I am wondering should I wait even longer? like 18 months/2 years?
I would rather do it sooner then later just because heats are such a pain but what do you guys think?

My vet always reccomended spaying after the first heat cycle, big or small dogs, but I think every vet has their own opinion

My vet told me after the first heat cycle and before the second is the best time.
