Do you free feed your dog(s) or are they schedule fed? The reason why?

I feed mine twice a day.
The reasons I dont free feed are I have 3 dogs and feed separatly.
Large breeds that could get bloat
I want to know how everyone is eating.
I think its another good way to show leadership.
My dogs look forward to meal time.

Schedule feed twice daily.

The vet recommended it and with the health issues he has, I need to know how much and exactly what he eats.

I feed Violet twice a day in her crate and the pugs eat once a day usually together.

My muffin head eats twice a day. A cup in the morning around 6:30 am and a cup late afternoon around 5:30pm. I like to know how much she is eating, her breed tends to really pack on the pounds, also like Corso mentioned, could get bloat.

I feed the 2 Hav's in the early morning, all get a bit at lunch, Cailleach gets fed at 5PM by herself and Arriba gets fed at the same time by herself. At 9PM Julio gets his treat ball with the rest of his ration and he has to work for it, he puts on weight if I don't closely monitor his intake. The Border Collie has a full dish at all times.
