Hubby and I do have a cell but I hardly ever use it only when necessary. Well while he was away up north I had to take him a 50.00 pre-paid card (Telus) because apparently they didn't have our automatic top up set up and he used the extra time (on top of the 45.00) plan we had on it being northbound. As it stands now in order to properly use the phone it's 45.00 monthly unlimited talk/text evenings and weekends but you've pretty much have to have an extra 15.00 on there for any out-going calls you might need to make. So we're spending approxiametly 60.00 monthly for this damn Telus account.
So than last night my girlfriend calls and apparently Public Mobile has this 40.00 a month plan unlimited calls and texts 24/7 includes call waiting,forwarding,3-way and is just like a 'home phone' for about 45.00 with tax and she was able to keep her same cell phone number so I'm thinking we are due to top this one up by the 26th and after checking thier website and stuff I'm thinking ya let's switch it there.
Does anyone know of any 'cheaper' methods of pay as you go plans comparable to what we're considering if so please feel free to speak up as we could use the input prior to switching to anywhere.
Oh and we're in Toronto,Ontario thanks!
