List making........

So it seems I really suck at planning camping trips.
On the list of things needed I have added 3 things -

Tent
Air mattresses
Coolers

and seeing its an oven in my apt with no AC if anyone wants to list the things they take camping for I can steal from their list feel free too so I can shop this weeked

Thinking of going this Mon until the following Mon, Unless the kids are behaving then I'll stay a second week.

- bug juice
- a small first aid kit
- extra blankets
- flashlights

that's all i can think of for now

lmao sorry snitty, I can not help you with your list, as I'm having a hard enough time making a list for our trip.

but then again my camping trip list would be suited for Adult only :lol:

if where you are going doesn't supply firewood you need to
gather some up

shampoo
soap
salt
pepper

and a whole lot more

Baby wipes! I always take those to the field when I go "camping" they are perfect for washing up when there is no running water.

basically one of everything you own will work

Thankfully we are only camping 7 mins from home so if I forget things it wont be so bad.

hair brush and probably shampoo
lots of water
towels and wash cloths
garbage bags
pepper spray (just in case a critter comes onto your camp ground)

I find the best way to pack for camping is to start first thing in the morning and add everything that you use daily. By night time you will have a long list but everything will be on it. Get the kids to do the same for what they need. Then check off the stuff you can live without for the time you will be away. I always bring lots of books and painting stuff for when I get bored and tons of music. If you are taking the dogs (I bring lots for the dogs), grooming kit, leashes, dishs, portable dog fence (keeps other dogs and kids out) and their food of course. Like others mentioned lots of water and plastic bags. Bug spray, battery powered electric fly zapper, and that's all I can think of for now. Hope you have a great time. I hate tent camping, motorhome or nothing, I need my bathroom and my conveniences. Another good thing to take is a zippered gazebo with bug netting and a floor. No ants or other bugs (uggh bees) plus I leave the dogs in there with the picnic table and my lazy lounger and there is always shade, they're pretty cheap and great!!!. Reading this I can see why we rarely go camping, too much trouble.

The site has been reserved for tomorrow!

Going friday afternoon until sunday afternoon figure 2 nights is good enough for camping seeing we havent gone in years and I still remember how much a pain in the ass it was last time.

Got the CT flyer today and the 4 room tent is on sale and when I called it was in stock!
The other tent I want is also on sale for 189 so will have to decide which one I want when I go in the morning.

Bring hoodies for everyone trust me on this apparently the mosquitoes were pretty BAD this year and long tracks and hoodies really helped a lot.

Camping 7 minutes from home now that's my idea of camping LOL I could zip home everytime we wanted to potty LMAO!!!

In all honesty I haven't tent camped in bout' 3-4 years but everytime we do go we plan everything right down to the menu LOL plus we've made big additions to our camping gear to include a generator,propane fridge,kitchen tent,trouble lights,rubber dingee & motor,walky talkie's etc etc some things you just can't leave behind LOL
