Who has had the biggest impact on your life?

I think between my Hubby, Sister, Mom and Grandma that these people have helped me become the person that I am today. The contributions that they have all made for me and my personal betterment have had a lasting impact on me.

Well, probably my mum and dad, but I read a lot and was super aware of and interested in things going on in the world and I know that had a big impact on me too. My parents allowed me to be who I am today. I was well-loved, independence was nurtured yet my family offered unconditional love and stability. Indirectly, I would say my sister who has schizophrenia really impacted my life too because I am super conscious of the needs and concerns of those who are mentally ill. And my brother, the capital S socialist. His outlook on life helped me form many of my opinions. My sibs are all much older than me. 13-18 years older.

Uhhhh...this was supposed to be a new topic, not a reply!!!!!!!!!!!!

There have been so many people that have impacted my life through the years. I have found that depending on the stage of life I am in.. There are some amazing people I would have to thank.

There are parts in my childhood I would like to forget. But I live my life accepting all the negative and positive. I am a firm believer, I wouldn't be the type of individual I am today if I didn't go through what I went through.

I am very lucky as well, that I had a strong foundation in my life. My parents were always there for me. Didn't matter how hard I rebelled or dissapointed them. They were there at every turn. I was my dad's daughter. I am finding at this stage of my life. My relationship is blooming with my mother. She is an amazing person. Strong and determined. She is someone I admire. LIfe had thrown her alot of curves in the last 10 years. But she lives her life to the fullest.

The other one who impacts my life at this stage is my hubby. He is amazing person. Who supports me, whatever I choose. He usually says.. " shit or get off the pot" LMAO. But no matter what crazy idea I have or whatever direction our life takes us. We stand together- throw thick and thin.

I think my husband of 18 years,he taught me to accept ME,he taught me to trust in another person,to love without fear and to accept love without reservation

then my two downs syndrome children,taught me to be more humble,more accepting of others with a disability,but even more they taught me unconditional love and pride.

The more I hang out with my mom, the more I realize I got the fun bits of her. She is loud and outspoken, funny, kind and pervy. Maybe I should put that in my mothers day card LOL.
