Pretty much so Jersey,The mayor and one of the council members got the truck and tractor out last night and cleaned the roads

I think we are done with snow at least for the moment,but I am not going to complain about it,we really need the moisture

Gotta love men with big toys.

thats what I said,now the neighbor is coming over to get my tractor and see is she can clean up a bit more

We're getting some ugly right now. Started with rain, then freezing rain, then snow, then freezing rain, now snow again.....UGLY!

We should move.
I'm done with snow but it seems to love us.

Today is the last day to have T4s out, and we don't have ANY. Fuck you jobs!

Morning everyone.
Had a terrible sleep.
My mom went to my vet and prepaid for Seven's needles and his neuter for me.
The new guy working explained everything to my mom and my mom explained all she was expecting to get with the money to him.
She left feeling all good about the transaction, with gift certificate in hand.
She gave me the gift certificate as I surprise last week
Well, I took Seven to the vet and the gift certificate did not include his needles or the vet visit to get the needles.
I feel so bad for my mom.
She is the most honest person ever and that is just not fair.
She went in to talk to Rob at the clinic about it last night and while he admits HE made a mistake he will not honor what he initially quoted her.
That vet visit for needles(and I only did rabies) ate more than half the amount of the total gift certificate.
The needle was only 14.00 plus tax.

She asked for the remainder of her money back and she left quite pissed off. (lady like but pissed off knowing my mom)
Why does this BS keep happening???
I feel terrible for her and I'm furious with them.
I certainly can't go back there now.
Would you call and speak with the owner over this or is done done now?

I would be on the phone in a heartbeat,trying to be calm,but firm about what was quoted in the first place Jersey

IF that was my mom I would be furious at the vet for making her feel bad when she was trying to do something good for you and the dog

I know yorkie, I feel awful and she was so excited about her surprise for us.
Even invited us over for a home cooked dinner and asked me to bring Seven.
We got pics of him "opening" the envelope and everything.
I think I'll go in on Monday.
I'm not effective over the phone at all.
I'd rather talk to the owner face to face.
What ever happened to the good old days?
When a business made a mistake they did all they good to keep the customer happy?
I would have even felt better about this if they split the difference with her or something.

I just spoke with my back up vet clinic.
They can call my "first" vet clinic and get them to fax all my records and ex-rays to them.
I'll think on this for the weekend.
