This time if year..... we have had a surge of break ins. a town sort of close to us..has had 150, most of the time it is when the owner is sleeping.....

arggg......how come no one picks my house...........(kind of joking here lol)

But hubby and I were talking about this. we dont lock our doors at night. Hubby asked me if i was nervous lol. hmm why.. lol.

on the news, a house was even broken into with a min pin that didnt wake................I am pretty sure that they had to msybe sedate the dog.

I dont have any worries.I am not bragging here, just my reality. presently lol I have 3 dogs in the house and sometimes 5 cats lol.(ya i am crazy) lol tiny house too lmao.

But this is what usuall happens around my house at night lmao.

Bandit is a yappy keeshond, who IMO has a heart of gold lol. Maybe not he best terms. Maybe thinks he is bigger then he is. You will not get a foot on m deck at night.. or even drive in our drivewa without him waking the whole house.....lmao if that is not bad he gets bosco started.. then m house shakes lmao

That's the same reason my house hasn't been broken into. If Tank thinks someone has stepped too close to our house he barks his head off... I would be worried for someone that wasn't introduced to him properly.

When I read your post Mini, the thread about the gas meter man came to mind and big Bosco.

I'm hoping the coyotes that have decided to hang out in my backyard lately will be enough of a deterrent to stop someone from breaking into my place. A few of my neighbours have had their homes broken into, but no one has attempted to step foot on my property. Since I have all next week off, I'm going to see if they come up closer and if I can get a good pic of them.

We never used to but we always lock our doors at night ever since "the incident". I had my nieces and nephew over night and during that night we had a stolen jeep plow through our field chased by 3 RCMP cars at 3 in the morning. They had no sirens on we all slept right through it. The thief had hit our fence and ran towards the house before he was caught. Turned out he was just a 15 year old who wanted to go home to the reserve. Not a huge threat but it likely seemed worse because my brothers children were in my care. Smile Smile Smile
