Hey all......I've likely been declared MIA, but still hanging around. Just kind of a shitty summer other than my trip so not much positive to add to conversations.

Way to go Mousey, sounds like you not only need that change you're very happy about it too. Still military?

Yorkie, can you stretch those miles of hose you have up this far? We desperately need rain......go figure, the Maritimes are bone DRY! Last time this happened we got slammed with Hurricane Juan then our winter treat, White Juan. I do not want to spend another 2+ weeks trapped in the woods.

And Jersey......don't you dare mention your winter wood pile. Makes visions of snow banks and COLD come to mind and I HATE winter.

KC, maybe you and I can join forces and have our borings cancel each other out?? Laughs would be good.

I was thinking about you lately.

It is desperately dry isn't it.

Fall is almost here, I can feel it in the air already

I love Fall, my favorite time of year.
I'm going to make it a happy, productive season.
I'm in the mood to clear house again.
Everything is going this time.
Back to basics and open spaces.

I could do Fall all year round........forever September!!

Then we can always have Halloween decorations. (or at least have can have an excuse for cobwebs in the house)

Am i the only one to notice that some trees are already starting to change colours?

I was wondering the same thing too UM. Usually I don't see the colour changing til after my b-day so I was thinking WTF. The only good thing about Fall is that Boardwalk Empire's season 3 will be starting.

I haven't seen any changing leaves yet but Fall is my favourit season too. I don't know why, maybe because school starts in the fall, but I always felt Fall was the new year

I've learnt over the years that Fall brings winter and in case you forgot I live in Canada and I don't want winters anymore. LOL
