Morning!! Wind and rain (trees and Christmas decorations) are all going sideways and around in circles. Not a nice morning for a pee run.

Good Morning,sorry your weather sucks there Fleas,supposed to get a bit of snow here tonight,but won't amount to much. Freezing rain comes before the snow and that is a bit of a concern,but hey,the weatherman never gets it right anyway

Could someone please give me the incentive to start decorating for Christmas? I got my wreath on the front door (till the wind takes it off) only because it was in the way after my daughter dug through our decorations. Figured it was easier to hang it than crawl back under the stairway. My village (what there is of it this year) is in the curio cabinet.......not on it's usual table, which is now tail and slobber height.

I have zero ambition to decorate..........just want to see the stuff appear where it's supposed to go.

Most of my decorating is done,minus the tree,waiting for the grandkids to do it.

Cookies are baked and ready to serve,having an open house on Christmas Eve ,hopefully I have all the cheese,crackers,chips and dips bought for that.


Outside decorations leave a lot to be desired this year,just can't get with it out there yet.On the other hand who needs outside decoations when I am sure the Griswalds live accross the street from me,I swear to God I have been blinded by the light

Mind you I did get my ass half in gear since my last post (cause it sounded so pathetic) few more wreaths and wall decorations hung, finally got the trees and people in my 'village'........just finished the one at work yesterday, so was able to bring my stuff back home.

Totally forgot about the tree.......that'll have to wait until I get the livingroom decorated, then I'll get to curse for a few hours. Hubby had to have an lit artificial tree (so much easier and less messy, says he) By the time it gets dug out from under the stairs, all the branches moved to his liking, lights spaced as best they can be being attached to the branches, then the decorations and garland spaced and equidistance from each other (not to mention not having too many of one color near each other. Trying to find a way to fit it up with wheels and a cover so I don't have to do it again. Give me a good old real, fresh smelling tree and let me put stuff on it the way I want and I'll be much happier.

Geez I'm in a whiney mood today......least I get to go to work and not look at what's not done.

Rant over.

Honestly this morning I have moved this God forsaken fruniture from one end of the living room to the other to make room for the damn tree,now I can move it all again because this will not work. Maybe I can put the tree in some of the VISITORS bedroom

I haven't put my tree or decorations up... and I'm not sure I'm going to bother... the cat will just knock it down anyway.

Same advice I just gave my daughter about their first tree ever........drop it on the cats a couple of times (before decorating of course). Scare the shit out of them so they won't want to be near it.

I didn't forget Yorkies law but the cats aren't listening to it. You should come here and teach them a lesson or two.... I wonder if the dropping the tree on them would work
