So gunner has busted fences this past week... he will not be penned.. lol.. It is now a war Me and him.. He breaks everything.. he is not staying on our land..

For the last couple of weeks he goes to the neighbors.. for the longest time I couldn't figure it out.. I even had to go to the young neighbors to say.. hmmmm don't shoot him.. Then I found out the reason he is visiting the neighbors.... he has a pregnant mare.. and coyotes are starting to pack.. gunner has been chasing coyotes away from his new friend the horse.. This is why PYRs are the most stubborn, headache breed.. because this is what they do.. He will be there until she foals out.. I watched him the other day.. chase 4 coyotes.. He now thinks the neighbors horses are his herd.. so he breaks out... but he always comes home.. damn dog.. is driving me mad

LOL...I know it is not funny to you but he sounds like a good dog! I hope your neighbour is kind to him and realized that he is also looking out for him. Above and beyond the call of duty!

+1 I hope the neighbour is thankful to you for the job Gunner is doing watching over their mare. Smile
