| Awesome fleas! Now if you can make it through the playoffs it might give me the incentive to quit. Mine would be cigs and pepsi.....don't know how I'm gonna be able to do that, addicted to both and can't have one without the other and doing without either makes me real ugly. | |

| I'm not finding the lack of beer too bad. When I tried to quit both a while back, I missed the beer more than the smoking. I'm hoping stopping the beer a week before the smoking is the key to my success. I have to admit, I miss the beer store. | |

| Good for you fleas! Honestly, I find that totally inspirational in a "maybe I could kick that caffeine habit" sort of way. | |

| Way to go Fleas you need a distraction for your hands ... What about crosswords or something like that?
Rottnmom I can so relate I'm grouchy without my smokes and yet I too have been thinking of trying the Champix as well. One of my friends quit smoking on Champix and did really well for awhile but started back up ugh. As for the pop though I quit drinking pop almost two years ago in may plus lost some weight too win win now if only I could be inspired by Fleas efforts and progress.
Way to go Fleas we're rooting for you!

| Ummmmmm, oops?
I haven't slept much in the last 3 days so I cracked. Slept like a baby though! To be perfectly honest, I didn't plan on quitting beer to begin with. I needed to cut back from everyday to once in a while, so it's not a huge mistake imo. 4 days was actually quite good, and I know I'd crack Sunday anyway.
No matter, the smoking is going away Monday....that's the whole point in all this. Go me!

Way to go Fleas we're rooting for you! If I can do it, anyone can. I'm a heavy smoker and I used to drink almost everyday. Doing both has not done me any favours and even if I cut back to occasional drinking the smoking has to go away, if only for the benefit of junior. It's just time to make it happen. Thanks SS!

Can you pm me what the cost is for it? Do you know if its covered by insurance?

| I haven't had any side effects at all. Obviously that may not be the case with all people. The cost for the "starter pack" from Walmart was $59.01 and is good for two weeks. I guess you can get a 2 week or 4 week pack the second time around and it's basically the same price for each 2 week period.
You would have to check your benefits to see if it's covered by your plan. We have to pay up front, but it is covered up to $250 total on wifeys plan.

| I think it depends on your plan. I get full coverage...although I haven't gotten mine yet! | |

Are you suggesting the main side effect for fleas is that he's not as weird anymore? Oh no, tell me it ain't so! I've got it on reliable source (1st person, but don't tell anybody I told you that!) that the weirdness returns once the whole process is done.

| Is it possible that I'm the normal one and all of you are the weird ones? Day 2 has started sucky. Woke up and reached for a smoke, but none to be had. Oh well, I'm not quitting quitting this time. | |
