The lady I got it from was an older lady whos dart club used to use it for games sit on it and try and get a bullseye.

So glad I found it on kijiji last night, and if I go missing and you never see me again I'll be in the diningroom on my new toy forever!!

Didn't know report cards could bring tears to a person's eyes..... this is one of those moments when a parents heart Swells with pride. So very proud of my little girl. NOw on to grade 3 next year

Nervousness is kicking in and I still have 3 weeks to go before the actual trip!!!!

Why Nervous???

The In laws have never met my children, in the 2 years hubby and I have been together this is going to be the very first time they all meet. I'm not nervous about acceptance as They (the grandparents) have already accepted them (the kiddo's) into their life.

I'm nervous about the fact that this is going to be a learning tool for them as their lives have never been opened up to a child with down syndrome. I'm actually nervous about them seeing one of her fits (if she even takes one). Don't get me wrong they have had a few children and seen fits, but my kiddo's is on a totally different level of "fits" and I guess I'm nervous about the possible reaction that it can produce.

If I dare explain this to the hubby he will be like, "What you nervous for its only mom and dad" or "Bah she wont take fits she's a princess" or "Your thinking too much, stop"

I wish the first initial meeting was done and over with already lol.

Aww Tookey, I am sure it will be fine and they will be supportive and maybe they will gain some insight into downs syndrome that they never knew about. I can understand your anxiety but I am sure it will all be fine and of course your daughter will be a princess and just reel em in. ((Happy Vibes))
