**Updated Again: Yorkie's old kitchen...& some of the new 99% done now!

Many many years of cupboards being on the wall,and one does not realize,nor can they do anything about
the yuk that ends up behing them or built in ovens and counter top ranges

The hole in the floor actually used to be a laundryshoot,gald to see it gone.all the wires hanging around are
from the lights we dismantled and have put in recessed lighting .

as you can see by the hole in the wall we got a bit exuberant with our dismantling the old cupboards LOL

where we actually cut a hole in the wall is now where my microwave is built into it,I hated it sitting on the
counters

the panty has been cut in half as it was way big and took up one small wall

The countertops were an Ugly butterscotch colour and I am glad to see it gone

The huge hole in the wall where you can see into the garage is where we built the new fridge in

Over the years the cupboards had taken on an orange hue which made one a bit nauseous when they went in there

Hopefully by the end of the week I can show some of the new and improved(at least in my eyes) kitchen

Just FYI the blonde in the pic is the neighbor who is doing a lot of the work,she has worked hours and
hours over here with me

I wanted a laundry shoot.. but I don't know if I would use it.

with kids a laundry shoot sucks,they throw everything down there,homework,shoes,purses,you name it and I have had to seperate it
before I could actually do the laundry

I am glad it is done,now I have a lovely cabinet there LOL

The coke couch is for us to sit on in the garage when we are playing darts,had no idea my son would even think of buying me something like that,but I love it

Another one here who loves the backsplash. Also the counter tops, cupboards and the red sink. Can't wait to see pics when it's all done.

thanks,I will take more pics when the trim is up.So far it is everything I wanted in a kitchen,it is a galley kitchen so not real big and we needed to utilize every square inch of space we could get

the cannisters on the shelf and the jar on the counter top are old tom peanut jars from the early 50s and just seemed to fit in there

I absolutely love the new look and all the counter space I now have thanks to the awesome neighbor gal.

It was fun doing it ,but I never ever want to do it again LOL,which is why I went with the colour I did on the counter tops,if I ever get sick of the red,I can pull it all out and use another colour
