This Could Have Gone WAY WRONG

I made a vet tentative appointment a few days to get Arriba's hips, elbows X rayed and patellas rated plus a cardiac test for her OFA which my vet knew about plus a spay appointment for the tabby kitten. When I called this morning to confirm I spoke to the receptionist who had gotten things a tad backwards...she had booked Arriba for the spay!!!! :o :o To ensure that doesn't happen we are taking the kitten in at 8AM and Arriba at 3PM... that would have been a fucking disaster. :!:

Good thing, you called to confirm. Just stress when you bring Arriba in at 3pm, that she is only here for x-rays. See if the vet will allow you to go in the back room while they are doing the x-rays.

I'm pretty sure I can stay but I think she will be better behaved if I'm not there with her, I'll see what happens I could be wrong. My vet knows what's going on but holy hannah, the receptionist also made my heart skip also. Can you imagine!!

Forgot to update...the cat came home spayed and Arriba did not...wheww. The clinic expanded just two weeks prior to our visit and they were adjusting and really busy that day. Bloody hell...I get my bill and pay it and after borrowing moms glasses read it. No cardiac or patella on it so I wait for a vet tech to appear to remind that this needs to be done also, really glad I caught it. Vet came walking out from the back saying..Arriba, Arriba undulay, undulay...Speedy Gonzallez cartoons (for anyone who is old enough to remember Warner Brothers Bugsbunny shows.)

When filling out the OFA form the vet told the receptionist to make sure to check the box for the public display as Arribas results will improve the health stats in the overall ratings for Havanese.

Thank goodness it all went well Pooper
