A ton of us still use some of the old fashioned stuff, like pounds, feet, inches, etc., so it's not dead here either.

In all honesty they did try to change here,but the Americans said not only no but hell no.I am glad they did,I hate the metric system.

When I moved up there until the time I came back here,I had to convert everything into American,it is NOT fair that you canadians made my brain work that hard

I use pounds, feet, inches, Fahrenheit, etc... Maybe because I live in a border town. Don't tell me the temp is ... degrees Celsius, because I'll make you convert it. lol

Cold here this morning,but the wind has died down a bit.

I agree, you did an amazing job getting the decorations completed so quickly.

Another cold day here and I'm broke again.
Half my Christmas lights don't work and I wanted to put some up on my house.
I had more money before I got a job.
I wonder how that happened?


Oh well, I have some indoor lights that work so I'll put those up today.
Cory's friends are coming over tomorrow night to put on a little fireworks show for their child.
I'll be SO glad when these fireworks are all gone.
They have been a pain in my ass since they were purchased months ago.
I mean really, who does random Monday night fireworks?
Silly if you ask me.

I got to have Gabe the beagle last night and today so that's at least something happy.
We fell asleep on the chaise last night together.

Can you use laundry soap in a HE washer that doesn't have the HE symbol on it?

I have no idea what an HE washer is,why is it different from any other washer?
