Umm I'm pulling at straws here...I don't really have any well maybe I do...We have booked our holidays and Sissy and the kidlets are also taking their vacation at the same time and they will be staying at my Dad's trailer for the week which is 2 trailers away from ours. So I get my Zion for a whole week all to myself.

My youngest dropped in to my work day before yesterday to return my car keys, accompanied by a big hug. Two new employees were there and after she left they asked who she was and how often I get to see her. Told them I see her quite a bit as she's only 5 min away. One of the girls said.....oh, I figured when she hugged you, you don't get to see each other much. Our full time girl, who knows my daughter told them.......her daughter always hugs her. I dawned on me shortly after that my kids all hug me, every time I see them....even if I saw them the day before. I get hello hugs, goodbye hugs and just because hugs. Damn, I'm lucky!!

Good news thread hmmm lets see...

Our apartment building has a a total of 8 apartments aprox. 20 people live in our building, our landlord was smart and put in only 1 washer and 1 dryer (brilliant move on his part) good news is...it took me a week of going up and down the stairs to check to see if the washer was available and OMFG I finally got to do a load of laundry this morning.

more good news....

My other half is at work....He goes to work Monday to Friday and each and every day when I wake up its good to see him gone to work as I have the apartment to myself (minus my mentally slow dog) as I have one less pest in the place.

We went out for dinner last night hubby found a small piece of paper in his food, called the waitress over who called her manager over just as we found another piece. They gave him another meal and paid for mine as well so with the money we saved we're going out for breakfast too!
