I did not.
I don't have a turkey tray.
I biffed mine out last year as the thing was constantly burning my arm.
Baste and burn-nope not this year.
I'm thinking my kids' will be eaiting a butterball in the morning- if the freaking thing ever decides to defrost.
I am having salmon pin wheels tonight.
My parents came out today and we had a nice visit.
Not your traditional TG but I liked it.
My mom's turkey was in the trunk in a cooler.
I have the most unconventional family ever, they travel with a full dinner and bring it to you.
She also found a sweater for Chandler at a flea market and my dad got him a blanket.
My dad is so kewl, I asked him if he still sewed - he used to sew my stuffed animals if they got a rip.
My dad said, it's been awhile but I can still sew ok.
I gave him Chandlers favorite toy. Travel Pig.
Travel pig is really important in our house.
my wonderful father is home right now trying to find the "just right" thread match to sew up a little dogs toy.
THIS is what Thanks Giving day is about.
Family and people we love.
I LOVE you guys.
I hope you all had just one moment of really nice today.
