That may be true but we all know you wanna keep the cup in Canada and if it was any other team...EVEN THE HABS I wouldn't mind so much. Vancouver irks me to no end.

I knew I should have played proline.

Even though my Habs have a bitter rivalry with Boston, I don't have issue with them pulling it out. It's been a long time for them and they have played well. Vancouver just doesn't seem to have the extra gear to put them away, so sux to be them.

My hatred for New England is more about the Patriots, not so much any other part of the area....I'm just a bitter man.

Worst part of this game is that it was a great first, now it's just clock killing. It's almost boring with Boston just playing defense.....but it is for the cup, so I can understand it. I know it isn't technically over, but Congrats to the Bruins!

Thomas would've won the Conn Smythe either way imo, win or lose.

I think that was a missed call rottn. The penalty was somewhere else on the ice. Maybe KC can verify that?

It happens. My Steelers lost the Bowl last year and I still proudly wave my terrible towel.

Rott, all ribbing aside, I pray your girl makes it home safely and that the folks of Vancouver can accept their defeat with dignity and not make the whole city pay. I have never understood riots after these types of events.

Thanks for the good thoughts KC. I heard they have more police out than they had for the gold medal at the Olympics. My main worry (and hers) is getting off at the sky train station downtown and making it to her bus. Hopefully everyone will just head home and keep their heads screwed on straight. Tks again.

Well, it all belongs to Boston. They played awesome right through the whole series.........and they have one hell of a goalie!! Congrats to them and all their fans!!!
