I would have posted about this last night, except by the time we got home I was hearing static in my head and it was whispering *go to bed, you fool.......* Yep, Mr. Boston was right. All that fresh air and exercise.... I was two steps from comatose, LOL.

As some of you may figure out, we kidnapped Mr. & Mrs. Boston for the day and tooled down to the Hillman Marsh area to do some Geocaching. Holy crow, what a lovely area, even with the storm damage towards the lakeside. I had my crummy little camera so didn't get the best of pictures, but they'll give an idea.

Interesting looking flowers. Anybody know what they are?

Really crummy picture of a Kingfisher. Believe it or not, first time I've ever actually seen one!

Great Blue Heron.

Really bad shot, hope Boston has better of this. It's a Great Egret, I think? Picture doesn't do it justice, it was really huge.

Missed on some Muskrat (LMAO, the cache name was "Swamp Rat") and baby Bunny shots, they were too fast.

We had a great time (although taking my own advice on the sunscreen/hat would have been a peachy idea. Sunburn in my hair part and on my nose..... oops!) and we'll have to do it again! Maybe invite along a couple other kibblers who wouldn't have to carry along that heavy bird book to act as tour guides? Very Happy

We stumbled upon this slithering across the road.

And these because they are pretty.
