Staying out of the disgruntled Mother's day thread because I had a great Mom Day. The whining and bitching about dog safety issues like coyotes and traffic in the yard finally paid off. cheers Daughter put some thought into her gifting and I absolutely laughed my ass off...she gave individual gifts all wrapped (from the dogs) complete with cards from Carilton...who would have thought of doggy cards "From your Dog". Cailleach gifted solar lights for the back deck stairs because in the dark she runs to one of the other doors that's better lighted. Julio gifted raspberry canes because last year he dug them out. Arriba gifted black nail polish and my fav brand of mascara. Last and not least from the human child I got a 3' lion statue for my garden...with the statement that the fur children will have to pay her back from their allowances. Too funny!!!

Hubby...back to the whining and bitching...dog kennel!!! It had to be assembled but he put it up with a tad of my help and I love it!!! 8 feet wide x 12' long and a lot of overkill on the height at 6 ' being the dogs top out at 8 inches tall at most but that should deter the coyotes. Plans to move it close to the deck and out of the grass and put some rubber matting from the horse stalls as flooring so it can be easily hosed off and some type of sun protection though they won't be in it other than when I am outside and too busy to mind them. Life is going to be much easier. Smile Smile Smile

All assembled...

And this is way too funny. Hubbys last statement after this silliness was an after statement..."I hope nobody pissed in here yet and worse I better not be rolling around on top of any shit :face:

I use those kinds of kennels for my dogs . I put the concrete paver down for flooring and get the car port awnings 12 x 20 for the top I don't know if you could use those awnings with the snow that you get where you live . The awnings I get at tractor supply for $129.
