PostSubject: Gardasil vaccine   Mon 03 May 2010, 11:29 pm

They are talking about pulling it here in Kansas, yet another teen has been vaccitnated and ended up with swelling in her brain and seizures caused from it

I had the opportunity to get it for both of my girls and declined,1200 deaths so far from it,unknown at this time how many have suffered severe side effects from it,

It is scary stuff, some schools gave it as a regular vaccine last year, letters were sent out to all the girls moms that it was being given,I kept my girls home that day

I felt the same way about the h1n1 vaccine I also declined that one for myself and the kids

I got the H1N1 vaccine for the whole family. I guess I got scared that my kids had a chance of dying without it. Who knew the whole thing would turn out to be relatively mild - didn't it actually kill less than regular flu?

It was a lot of hype over nothing IMO,but I know a lot of people followed through with the shots,I just did not feel they had enough research done on it and I feel the same about the Gardasil

I don't have daughters but the whole thing sounded rushed to me when it came out. It takes years to develop and thoroughly test a vaccine for it's side effects, and this came out the same year it was developed. Not much testing going on there and it doesn't even prevent all strains, maybe about only 5 strains of the virus. I feel sorry for the parents who went through with this and their child had a horrible side effect. Crying or Very sad

No yorkie I don't ..
They have had a few when they were Babies
But my feelings of vaccines have changed..
I know everyone has their opinion and thoughts about
vaccines so I don't try and push my thoughts about it
on anyone else.
So I hope know one here will do the same to me.
Smile

Wow, deaths from the guardasil vaccine? I never heard of it before now, I'm second guessing it now.

Yes, so true..
I have been criticized before for not vaccinating my boys Mad

My boys are healthy and happy.
For example my youngest (who is 8)
Has not missed ANY school this school year . No cold, no flu, no nothing Very Happy
My oldest (who is almost 10) has only missed 4 or 5 days all school year..

Where are you, Skittles? In Ontario, I think you just have to sign a form that says if an outbreak of certain diseases occurs in the school, you are to keep your children home until it is over. Not positive on that though.

I am in Washington, I have signed that forum and so far so good.
I just hope that they don't make it Mandatory to HAVE vaccines. I wont
vaccinate my boys. I don't like the idea that when you do have your kids vaccinated
that you have to sign a paper stating you will not hold them liable for the death
of your child if that occurs Shocked ... Sorry NOPE... Not Gonna Sign...
My Kids are healthy Very Happy
