Sharing pics of my pup Violet for those who have not seen her yet....

She is 12 weeks old, 23 pounds, she is equal parts bullmastiff, cane corso, presa canario and lab......
But that is so long to type out that I am going to call her a Canadian Mastiff from now on Very Happy

This is her at 10 weeks (the day she arrived)

Awww, isn't she just the cutest?? What happened to her tail? Are you still mulling about a big crate, think I have a XLarge one down in the basement if you're still thinking you'll be needing one.

But might try converting it to a bear trap. Can't have chickens as a pet, might try a bear?

Her tail was docked by the owner of her mother..... her dew claws were also removed (thank god) although I think she would look nicer with her natural tail.

Its docked at a funny length, kind of a terrier length as opposed to short like you would expect.

I can't believe they put that dead bear on the cover of the paper...... I know they had to shoot it but .......
If you have a crate you are not using I will buy it off you for sure.

I realize the necessity of shooting it, but yeah, the picture was a bit much. I'll double check on the size of the crates and get back to you tomorrow. Pretty sure we might need one in the future, but not two, LOL. Thought of you the other day as we were trying to declutter our basement (key word "trying"..... not even close).

Ok, so I can officially say it.... Pictures just don't do Violet justice, she's about 10X more adorable than her pictures show.

Thanks,

I love your dogs to unhinged (they were way more calm and obedient then my dog LOL)

I walked around the dog park and met a lady with a Leonberger (she was absolutely stunning!) and I also met a presa pup, I have never met these breeds in real life so I was very excited.

I didn't take her in the dog park though.... too many crazy dogs today.

Very Happy

Calm and obedient? Naw, well-bribed and exhausted, LOL. We took a turn around the park before you got there, second walk of the morning. Contrary to popular belief, the two aren't the most energetic breed of dogs going. My little guy...... different story.

Wish I had seen that Leonberger, I've never seen one either.

mcpug there is a bull mastiff mix just up the road from me. He is huge but soooooooooo calm. Just lays in the backyard when we walk by. He looks so much like your pup, same face markings. He does have a long tail though.
