I seen (instead of saw)
there/their/they're - they're not interchangeable!
using "then" when it should be "than"
'your' instead of 'you're'

There are lots more. What are some of yours?

My grammar and spelling is awful so I try not to judge.......

Thank God I have firefox with spell check or my posts would probably drive many nuts.

I grew up in the 80's back when education was "free flowing" and "at your own pace" and because I was such a creative writer in grade 3 and 4 the teacher decided that if he corrected my spelling it would inhibit my creativity.......

So now I am still creative but I have horrible spelling and can't tell a their from a there.....

There is for "There is" and "There are" or a place like "over there"

Their is the possessive pronoun used when saying something belongs to someone such as "Their car"

then there is They're which is the contracted form that replaces "they are"

The way people spell matters not to me , what they say is important .

When I hear people complaining about others grammar reminds me of the snobs at school , and since face book I have had the chance to see some of those snobs and LOL . Doesn't look like they did any better in life than I did !

No real pet peeves. I admit I'm a crappy speller and sometimes my fingers go faster than my brain.

But thought I'd comment and state, if you have a pet peeve on spelling I should send my daughter on here ya'll would die due to her spelling - wait for that matter either of my daughters lol!

Poor spelling and grammar of others does not bother me, but I do notice sometimes some people get the words sale and sold confused. Instead of saying "they sold some (insert item here)", they say "I sales some (insert item here)".

I often stretch words depending on the person I am conversing with. For me I use it to denote expression. I will often do it in spoken conversation as well.
