| So, if I have this correct. You'd only attend an event, that has enough alcohole , to have you arrested. In order to sit, in the drunk tank, to be served rubber Hamburg's. | |

| That was last weekend this weekend its rubber chicken lol
And one beer ought to do it or two American beers I dont drink lol just mikes hard shit. I think events depending what they are should be held in a hall not a restaurant.More private more convenient

| My Mom just had her 65th birthday party at a local pub. We had cold cuts, salad, veggie trays....the usual for a party I guess. We aren't the going out type, so that was pretty much what would've been done even if we stayed home. | |

What type of event are you planning? Baby shower, reunion, graduation, anniversary?
I'd need more info. I love planning events, just don't like attending them.

LOL ... So you've partied in Detroit, Michigan then? Just reminded me of some of the bars over there that have bars on their windows. Along with the houses.

I have a few a year, the biggest being over 90 people for my father's funeral, rented a 20x40 tent and had that one catered. did one may 2x4, have one with just over 20 people coming up in 2 weeks, and one in august with between 40 and 45 people. Large country lot, trees for shade, large patio, fire pit, almost 1000 square inches of grill with 85,000 btu, 60,000 btu corn pot stove, and very good neighbours that I have at least one bbq a year for(may 2x4)

I'm thinking you won't notice a few extra at your next gathering? I'll bring cake.

you can be casually dressed, but I do require that you have clothing on at least when you arrive. but as the evening progresses if it find it a little warm and feel the need to shed something, you may, just so long as its done in a tasteful and somewhat sophisticated manner
