| sadly Harley was returned to the humane society, his play biting after the second surgery became quite aggressive.Left some pretty good marks on one of the kids.
I tried to convince the humane society to let me take him to the DOC in another town where he could get some training but they refused and made me bring him back to them
I don't think I will work with them again, their attitude toward the animals in their care is,if they play bite have any food aggressions they will not work with them they have to be pts

| Made me really angry,I called them to see if I could work with someone to resolve the bite issue and the food aggression, thier answer was bring him back today is the day we euthanize.
I have now put in a request to foster with the no kill humane society in a smaller town

| they are full and over full which is why I offered to take at least one dog out. They raided a home in town and collected 51 dogs from a trailer, some of them due to whelp soon. They sent 22 to Kansas City to a pound there adopted out 10 and still have all the pregnant females they want to place in homes that will whelp them out and keep all the pups until they can find homes
the dogs are all dachie crossed with beagles.

| Sorry it didn't work out Yorkie. They should have allowed you to take him for some training to work through his issues. I'm sure it's something that could have been worked through and nipped in the bud. | |
