Cooking question

I have frozen fish cakes from Sobeys.
Do I have to thaw them before cooking or can I cook them from frozen?
The package doesn't have cooking directions.

They are thicker then these.

The size that would fit on a bun but really thick.

I'm going to need a thread for cooking questions and stop messing up the recipe thread.

Most of that stuff you cook frozen,but if you aren't sure check on some brands that come frozen and I am going to assume that you would cook those the same way, I am betting on cook from frozen

They did cook from frozen.
Was really enjoying them until I had to pick out bones.
One or two bones I can live with but after two and I am still on my first fishcake...I'm done.

I had fish cakes from Sobey's and they had bones in them too. Bone went right through my front gum. Prior to that got them at Zhers and never had one bone when eating one. It has to be the brands Sobey's carries, their manufacturers must be too lazy to debone them before preparing them. After that Sobey's incident earlier this year, I refuse to do my grocery shopping there. Which is a shame because I like to support Canadian stores. My vent over. lol

What incident? I only shop at Sobeys...mainly for the airmiles.

Without googling, what do you know the word entree to mean?


Like if you and me went to a restaurant and we had a coupon for buy one get one free entree...what are we getting?

Hmm without googling, My guess is a meal..like a main dish with sides...?

Entree means a main dish.

It is interesting how different restaurants advertise their entree,At Applebees one of our bigger chain of restaurants they advertise 2 for 20.00 plus one entree to share,then they list the entrees,mozza sticks,potato skins etc.

I looked at another restaurant here Perkins,their entree is the main meal so I guess it can be either depending on where and how it is advertised
