So my house is open concept. Painted a red wall in the kitchen/dining room but I'm clue less as to what colour the other walls should be...all the cabinets are a dark wood and the walls right now are a beigish colour...any ideas? I like grey but not sure it will go with everything....hmmm maybe I should post pics...

I love the red wall accent,I would think twice about a gray, with the colour of your flooring.

Are you leaving the red wall? I hope so,by the looks of the pics the rooms are a decent size?

Yorkie, I was focused on the purse too. I'm purse addict. lol

Mousey, you have a beautiful home. I think they grey (slate grey) like Bullet suggested would go nicely.

I tend to avoid gray colours when I am using red as a feature in any room.

I would chose a more neutral colour and then accent the room with throws and pillows adding splashes of colour

I really like neutral colours, I was kind of hoping for something different than what is there now. I like grey but I was worried it wouldn't match the counters. Yes the red wall is staying, I just painted in June and I love it!

Hands off the purse ladies!!!

I saw a house for sale on mls in my area that had one painted red wall, and all of the other walls in the kitchen were painted white. I think either a beige or white wall to go with the red would be the way to go instead of grey. Grey can make the kitchen look smalller and clash with the beige cupboards. If you were looking to paint the living room also, you could go two white walls, the other two walls grey, with red accents accents.

The thing is, the wall in the kitchen runs all the way to the living room. Maybe I'll just stick to a beige colour...I don't want something too loud. I want it warm..

What about something like a wheat color.......golden beige-ish? More towards the golden but muted?
