Well, the line "She is not registered and cannot be registered" makes it a moot point anyway. She's just a very expensive cat. "Picked her up while backpacking" really? So a friend of a friend of a friend told him it was a breed, or he thinks it LOOKS like that breed, or he pulled the name out of... a hat so that he could sell it as "rare", for $200?

The kitten is cute. Looks like a regular long haired domestic house cat to me. Not sure if it's a scam or a cute gimmick. If someone who doesn't know cat breeds pays $200 for this kitten, then it helps to ensure the little guy won't be dumped.
