On October 23, 2010 I rescued a scared little orange fluff ball of a kitten.

I lock him in our bathroom for a few days so he can calm down. I decide I wanted to keep him after a few days of him warming up. I decide to name him Mufasa, cause he looked like a little lion with a big "M" on his head.
He was the cutest little thing ever..
A few months later he really came out of his shell. He was still very leery of strangers and the kids a little. He never went outside. Strictly indoors all the time.. I was worried he would run away. I even hung signs on my door. "DONT LET CAT OUT. PLEASE CLOSE DOOR BEHIND YOU. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS" he never was let out.. Thank you family..
He always looked so happy, like he was smiling.

He LOVED to play with feathers and all sorts of cats toys.. But his all time fav. a receipt crumpled up. He would play fetch with me.. kinda.. lol

He loved to sit in the window and watch the outdoors. But he never tried to bolt out the door.. What a good kitty..

He NEVER got on any counters or tables.
NEVER sprayed or peed on anything ..
Mufasa Was such A GOOD cat.. He rescued me...

May 9, 2012 .. Approximately 10:00pm. hubby and I are in our PJ's laying in bed watching TV, with Mufasa... I get up to go use the restroom and not 2 minutes later my husband starts screaming my name telling me to hurry up and get in the room.. Somethings wrong with Mufasa. He had thrown up a little and the stopped breathing :'( Oh my God please NO im screaming... I start giving him mouth to snout and chest compressions... .........

He's FUCKING dead... my cat is dead!!!! in my arms.. lifeless.

It is so sad that one minute you have this BEAUTIFUL cat laying next to you with his little motor going and minutes later gone!!!!!!!!!!!

days before mothers day which has sucked for me the last 6 years.
21 days before my moms 6 year anniversary of her death ..

RIP little man... You were the best cat I could have EVER wanted and some...

I did a lot of research and all I could come up with is that he had a birth defect. Weak heart or something and what can happen is when he started to vomit it possibly caused him to stroke or have a heart attack or the stress of vomiting tore a vessel ???? Very young ..

You got me crying.
I'm so sorry that your friend died.
Mufasa seemed like a really fun character and I know you will miss him terribly.
It's difficult for me to express myself when a pet dies.
Sorry never seems to cut it when your heart feels like it's ripped to shreds and all you want to do is scream at the world.
It isn't fair Skittles it just isn't fair.
I'm really sorry that he died like that.

Mercedes did too and it was just not fair. (I knew my cat had health issues though)
