| Panzer is starting early! Our first rottie around 7 months decided he really liked those long wooden strips that are studded with sharp metal teeth.......and are nail gunned into concrete floor and hidden beneath carpet and underlay. Liked the whole damn back hallway off the rec room so much he ripped up a ten foot x three foot run, consumed the underlay, yanked the strips out of the concrete and ATE them. Mind you, he did it in stages (as we caught him and relayed the carpet) Couldn't believe that wood and sharp metal teeth went through him no problem.
But then again it shouldn't have shocked us too much as comforters, starched doilies, leather gloves, jewellery and whole sneakers made the same journey ......... except he would puke up the entire rubber soles of the sneakers (guess the weren't compatible with his digestive system)
Welcome to rottie parenthood.

Yep, it's true always crate a rotti pup. Mine puked up a strip of cloth that said ECKO on it, didn't realize till days later he ate the son in laws cap. I just happened to ask does anyone know what ECKO is? I always thought the meds for seizures caused him to eat everything though. |

Mine ate a large piece of the plastic crate pan (this after a nice long hour walk) when she was younger, a small part of the door frame to the back door, and one time tossed a brick outside at me and it hit my shin. I was in tears, it hurt so bad. They will keep you on your toes, that's for sure.
