| Do you know of any vet clinics that offer reasonable spays? Young fella at work adopted a stray that moved into our garden center. When he took her to the vet in Elmsdale he found out it was 'too late' to spay her right now....... she's likely due late Jan/early Feb. They quoted him $255 for the spay, she weighs 8 lbs. I'm not up on those costs at all but that sounded a wee bit much. | |

| http://www.pickofthelitter.ca/index.htmHer name is Inge (Inga) and she might have some ideas for the kittens. Maybe she can help the young fella find a vet that will spay and neuter all of those kittens when they are old enough at a reduced price. He will still have to worry about that even after momma is spayed. | |

| Thanks Jers. I'll pass that along to him. I was quite proud of him, he had her to the vet less than 2 days after taking her home one night last week. Guess my rantings at work have paid off in some ways. | |

| Keep up the good work. I hope that Vet Clinic is cheaper. Couldn't hurt to mention that Janet recommended them. ;) | |
