| It's all good here Jersey
The entire town was wiped out,but no one was killed or injured in a serious way at least in the physical sense
We have nothing in our immediate area for today.
Thanks for caring Jersey

| don't worry Jersey,if you haven't heard from me in a week, then you have my permission to worry.
I am so busy right now between work and teenagers that I fall into bed dead every night.
Our weather is supposed to be good for the week end, looking at the long range it doesn't look to bad,but having lived here most of my life I know how quickly that can change

| Omgosh, thanks for that Rottn. I have such a p-poor sense of geography. I heard about the tornadoes on the radio on the way home from work, all I could think of was Yorkie.
Wait a minute... why is the green eating SW Ontario?

| I've gone crazy sometimes when those bloody storms hit down there and place names are not familiar........worrying about Yorkie and our cousin Dee. So I had to go back and pinpoint Dee's home too (plus bookmark that tornado site). Almost wishing I hadn't .......... the blue dot is where Dee lives. | |

| You gals fail to realize that we are well aware of tornado season when we live in these areas
Tornados hit Kansas Last week and wiped out a small town, but no one was hurt. It looks like it is our year for them so it just means we keep our eyes on the sky
They never really scare me,I have put the children in the basement a few times under the stairs where I know they are safe, then I go outside and watch. There is no way to describe the feeling of exhiliration I feel when the sky goes black and the winds pick up,watching it is almost a sense of defying Mother Nature

Same here. I don't have a basement, which is better than sitting in a closet located in the centre of the house.
