| Where did you 'mess up' the paint job??
Is she a girly girl, does she prefer 'characters' or themes, does she want to go more 'grown up' (as in teenager) style? What colors does she like? Wild and wicked, soft and feminine, deep rich colors and luxurious textures??
Haha  made it even worse for you than it was, didn't I?? | |

| When I was a preteen/young teen, my mother wanted me to have a room that looked like this............... But what I really wanted was one like this (minus that carpet, I'd have picked purple or blue).................. Google 'girl's bedroom' or 'teen bedroom' images and get Jr. to look through them all, pick out things she likes about them and hit up all the thrift stores. You'd be amazed at what you can pull together to get a unique and personal room that she'll love (and at a price you'll love) | |

| I LOVE old Victorian stained glass windows........so anything I find that reminds me of that I grab. My bedspread and most of the decorative stuff in my bedroom all came from the thrift store, even my curtains. Recently picked up a quilt that is something I would have designed for myself......all deep jewel colors, satins and velvets. Won't fit my queen bed but I'll find a spot for it.........even if it means using it as a wall hanging. I worship and adore our local thrift store | |

| You'd have a blast!! I could spend all day there and still not have gone through everything. It's all donation and other than some sleazy guy who 'collects' for one of the big charities (actually, he goes through and gets what he wants then they get what's left) they and the church clothing bank are really where everyone in all the surrounding communities drop their stuff. From antiques to the kitchen sink (literally) it ends up there. They have the use of the old elementary school (it's an organization that works with challenged adults), they have a coffee shop, wood work room and the thrift shop. | |

| Likely take the same amount of time 'crossing the border' that most stuff I get coming from the states. Had a huge porcelain egg sent from Arizona....tracking showed 1 1/2 days to the Canadian border. 10 days from the border to me. So allow 10 days to the US border, then another day or two using your postal system Edited to add: that would be 'business' days (at least on our side) | |
