Did I mention that I'm not a fan of this Holiday.

How does everyone else feel?

Well all the kids have been notified.......we're not doing the gift thing this year. Turns out it's fine with them (older daughter would normally pitch a fit......not that she wants anything, she just LOVES getting stuff for others). Such a relief, especially this year as too many $$ going out to do/get stuff for the new addition. Spa date tomorrow morning, etc.

I love decorating the house (got to have my village) and Christmas dinner........the kids have always said that and who's going to be there is what makes Christmas for them. 'Might' have one home, but that's still up in the air. Told her I'd rather have her here when the weather is better then be worrying about storms and flights. Youngest is spending it with her S/O and his family.....so will be away for a couple of days. Going to be a quiet one for the first time, but I think it's going to be more relaxing than any of the others.

I love Christmas. I love everything about it. The family, the food, the decorations, the music, the lights, the tree. I usually don't put anything up until December 1st but I'm dying watching all the neighbours put their lights up today.

I have mixed emotions about Christmas,I have a fair number of the kids and grand kids coming this year, but it always seems so lonely and empty when they all leave

I have 3 great grandkids that will be coming this year, the first time I will have met them
they are 10,7 and baby Gracie(named after my mom) The 7 is autistic so this could be interesting. They are my oldest bio sons wifes daughter.Whew, that was a lot to spit out

Go for it, put up the lights before it gets colder outside.
