| I don't know who did it. Nothing was taken. The police think they took off without even entering my house because of the dogs.

| Holy Crap Jersey, I'm glad that you are okay and weren't home at the time. Do you have any idea who would have done such a thing? Seems weird with Cory not being home and I get the impression that you are not in a highly populated area. | |

| Two neighbor's saw the same car around that time. I slept with all the dogs and the lights and the tv on. Phone in my hand and the computer was hooked up to my sisters computer on Google phone.
The police man said the wood that the neighbor put to to block the door is safer then my door was.

| OMG Jersey, I just read this! Are you OK? I know you weren't there but I had that happen to me ( they did get in and take stuff) and I know what it can do to you. Your neighbor boarded up the door for you? I'm sure they'll be extra alert now with Cory not being home and knowing you must be upset.
Hugs to you and to all those fur faces. Because of them you and your home are safe.
Have you let Cory know and when does he come home?

| The contractor Kevin was working on the house next door and he came and made the door safe for me. The police man said that it is now safer then the door was. The police don't think they are likely to come back because of the dogs. My mom wants me to go stay with them but if I leave it'll be worse. I'll be too scared to come back. I just gotta stick it out I guess.
Did they ever find out who did it to your house?

| Kevin is next door all day today and Scott is next door to him and is home all day too. Jackie (Scott's GF will be home around 5:00.) So, there are people around today and Jackie will call me when she gets home. I call my mom every hour and my sister is on google phone.
I'm exhausted as I didn't sleep much last night but I don't want to start getting even more paranoid than I already am. If I leave to stay at mom's I think it will make it that much harder to sleep here at all. Plus, I'm not leaving my animals and that's a lot of critters to haul to town and I know they will be naughty at "grandma's" house.

| It's good you have neighbors close who are willing to keep an eye on things for you. It will take a while, but those feelings will soon be replaced with anger...........and you'll be liable to whop the nuts off the first idiot that comes through the door. (Best hope that idiot isn't Cory)
Cops did pick up the ones that got into our place. We never heard anything more from them though. I was in the Grace, had just had my first. It was the day after he was born. Hubby didn't want to tell me cause he knew I'd be upset. Came home to a house with busted window, smashed gyproc, mud strewn all through the house along with dozens of burnt out matches they used to light their way around the night before while hubby was at the hospital visiting me.
We'd only just moved in two weeks before, brand new house, brand new baby. Coming home with a new babe is enough of an unsettling time......knowing people had broken in and gone all through my home was the icing on the cake.
Wasn't long before I was in mother mode AND vigilante mode.

| Everyone has been incredibly helpful. I'm not scared in the day, just at night. The police man told me to leave the setter out of his kennel at night. Tristan apparently looks scary. I thought he looked too sweet to do anything. I let them all out last night to sleep with me. It is scary to think someone went through your house but I don't think anyone got too far into mine. The laptop was right in view so someone left in a hurry. I wasn't gone very long. | |

I'm glad you're ok. That is one of the most scariest things. Except for the puppy, I would leave all of your dogs out of their crates (if they sleep in crates at night). How we view our dogs (physical appearance) isn't always how others view them. I too think my dog is too sweet looking, but I've been told by a lot of people that my Rottie looks scary looking.

| Thank you BBE Kane was my guard dog and he died this summer. Kind of threw me off my whatever the word is. I was ok here alone with him but it is scary without him. The police man thought Tristan looked like a dog to be out. I did that . My dogs don't have to sleep in the kennels but it works for us. Keyper is still little and it is safer for her to be kenneled. I let everyone out last night and they were a bit confused. They were already in high stress mode. We huddled together last night. I have to say though, I am so glad I locked my dogs up yesterday. The door was wide open and my kids were at least contained. Poodle boy was hiding. | |

Four huge trees taken down over the weekend off of my easement,I was sick of cleaning up the limbs everytime we got a storm,so I had them cut down,we hauled wood for 3 days, still have some out there that needs to be moved
