The worst is here - Winter attire - undershirt, t-Shirt, flannel shirt, sweater, vest, hoodie, Long johns, PJ bottoms, sweat pants. cover alls, ski-doo suite, winter parka, nylon socks, cotton socks, heavy wool socks, winter boots, head band, balla clava, touque, heavy gloves - now we're ready for chores - The site of me scares most people - except the cows who look upon me as their "FOOD GOD" things work out good so long as I don't have the urge to empty my bladder in a hurry.

It was a not bad morning at -32, I am getting used to it, but I left the barn horses indoors and will do the same tomorrow, tonight was bloody cold for chores my hands got cold. The dogs are having a hard time spending even a few minutes outdoors...the cats are not even wanting to venture out but they have been fighting for their own entertainment. Shocked. Good news is that by Thursday we are to be back above zero. Geez, I am so glad the tractor started on Wednesday so we could put out round bales...wheeew...we are safe til Thursday. Smile Smile Smile

Ok...shiver me timbers. Woke up this morning, and it's a blazin' -36 (it has be colder than that with the wind chill). Somehow I think I should be used to it by now, but sadly...no. I need to venture out later today, to buy a Christmas tree and I think it will be spending the next week indoors unthawing before we can decorate it. {sigh....I'd really like to just go back to Hawaii}
