Vigil for 229 (Tougher animal Cruelty laws) in Windsor

Hi guys,

I would love to set up a vigil here on April 23rd in honour of the 100 whistler dogs. and to promote bill 229- To have tougher animal cruelty laws. The goal is to have 100 cities involved, but their is nothing set up in Windsor yet.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested? I could definitly talk to the city hall, and have it mentionned on air, but I wanted to have a feel of how many people would be interested in this area.

I wish I could do the walk but I work that weekend and with the hubby still looking for work, I can't afford to take any time off.

I just really want to get a feel on the interest level. I know their is one in Toronto but Im hoping not to have to go that far just to take part of it, and I think our animal cruelty laws are outrageous. Maybe ill go get a feel of the interest level in the dog parks this weekend. See what people think.
