I find out tomorrow if I can take Champix to try and quit smoking. There are many things that can change in a person when taking this stuff, so if I tell everyone to F Off, just ignore me. Smile

If for some reason I'm not allowed to take them and I tell you all to FO, just ban me.

If you do decide to take it I would like to know how you feel about it, I have been toying with the idea for a while now and lately I am really thinking it is time. I was a non-smoker for about 2 and a half years and didn't think I would ever be a smoker again but here I am. One night with the Tragically Hip and beer and that was the end of my quitting. I hear men and women have different side effects but I would like to know how you make out with champix. Last time I quit cold turkey and did fine but hubby had quit before me and he says he doesn't wanna quit so I think I might need the assistance doing this solo as last time I always felt bad whenever I would light up around him even though he swore it never bothered him...I am pretty sure it would bother me to have him puffing away. I enjoy smoking but I wanna live a long life and this smokers cough is telling me its time.

If I can't take them, wifey is going to. She had a prescription last year and she never got around to filling it. Either way, I'll have some sort of results for you. I have a friend taking them right now and the only thing he said that has changed for him is some erotic dreams.....not a bad thing imo. :lol:

It's just a walkin clinic, but the doctor is really good. They may even be open on Sunday. :o
