New thread....

You post one thing thats changed for you in a year... minor or major, I'm not picky.

We've gone from heart aching with no child to fertility treatments that could mean babyville in a few months.

Does this mean we get to refer to you as OLD fleas???

Seriously though, congratulations!! Haven't had the pleasure myself yet (likely won't) but know so many who have recently become grandparents and they are totally loving it.

Ohhhh, and we will NEED PICS!!

Those are nice pics of the baby Fleas. Can't wait to see the pics after the baby is born.

Bullet, keeping my fingers crossed for you and your hubby.

Nothing major has changed in the last year for me. Minor, finally decided on what I want to go back to school for. This will be my final career change that I'll retire from, even if I end up hating this career. lol

Bullet, everyone here has a special spot in their heart that is waiting for the day we can see your pics like these. You would make the most awesome mom and of course, we would be the awesomest second family!! grouphug

Fleas, it wasn't a faux pas.. don't worry.. Its baby fever in my family so I've gotten used to it all.

Yorkie, of course you can be whatever you want especially since you've already threatened to buy out the stores for it.

I have a good feeling about this, and so far, I haven't been super optimistic about it all, so I'm hoping the good feeling is a sign.

We have names picked out... except we can't figure out a middle name for our boy name, I said James but he doesn't want his brother thinking its named after him so round 100 starts LOL.

I'll save the name telling for when I have the announcement, gotta keep you all in suspense.

Tell you what, you give birth to it, you can name it. If I have to sacrifice my lady parts, I get to pick the name.

Such good news Bullet. You know I have always said the same about my lady body parts and agree it's a feat that allows the choosing of the name. 8)

Bullet I wish you the very best, I've been somewhat in your shoes...thinking I'll never get pregnant and longing so for a child of my own.
I to, had fertility issues, I needed medication to get pregnant as we've talked about in the past. I pray this is the year for you and your dream becomes reality.

as for the past year...

2010 was not a good year for me or my family

I've taken a few steps back, the hard decision to sell my home,
the even harder reality that I had to rehome my dogs, (boy do I miss my dogs)
the loss of loved ones due to Cancer
but on the upside, I have my beautiful family and if we can get through what we've been
through this past year we will make it through anything, I always tell my husband whatever happens
we will ALWAYS be together.

Hope 2011 is a great year for all of you!

Big hugs Yorkie,MikaKeara amd Smurry. KB everything is crossed for you and yours hun we're so excited to see your dreams come true. Congrats on the job Jamn way to go especially if you like it. Don't worry to much Grandpa Fleas.

Myself I lost and maintained 32 lbs of weight this year.

Survived and helped Dd and I got through being in the wrong place at the wrong time aka gun fire but we survived and moved on while knowing shit happens and you only live once so I plan to live it with hope, love and happiness and I wish the same for you ALL.
