| LMAO
When I saw the title I was thinking, "I have lot's of chicken tips" Live ones...lol
I think cooking tips should come from people who can cook. If you get some pet ones though, I'm your gal.

| Brine the chicken in a salt and sugar solution for 6 hours. Then rub the chicken with butter under the skin. Salt and pepper the outside of the skin liberally. Put halved lemons and garlic bulbs in the hole. Bake at 350 for approx 35 minutes | |

| Before you do what Bullet suggested, you have to clean the chicken out. That's all I know, I'm not a cook. lol If Harley is not on a special diet, he might enjoy the cooked liver and heart of the chicken.
ETA: Don't forget the homemade stuffing to go with the chicken.

Looking for easy? Throw the whole thing in a slow cooker with a tiny bit of water or chicken broth. Optional - throw in a few garlic cloves. 4 - 6 hours on low and it should be done. I turn it on before 7 am and cook the thing until about 4 or 5. It doesn't get too overdone or dried out since it is on the slow cooker. I have had chickens done on a rotisserie, and if you have such a kitchen gadget, that is the way to go. Delicious. If anyone remembers, I have the menu plans. Whole chicken in a slow cooker is Mondays - served with rice and hommus and salad :-)

| Cooking a whole chicken is so easy. I spray mine with PAM put it on a rack in a roasting pan, do NOT add water, sprinkle with Montreal Chicken Spice or whatever you have, pop it in an oven @325. I think it's 30 min. a lb., not sure always have to google this. Oh ya make sure you take the goodies out of the inside of it too! Voila! Mmmmmmmmmm Good. |
