Amazon Boycott... Valid?

I saw this being debated on twitter and thought it might make for an interesting discussion and debate here.

Amazon is currently listing a title that is a guide to pedophilia. So my question to you is, freedom of speech, or morally repugnant?

I read half the article before I felt the coffee that I had just swallowed moving the wrong way in my digestive tract. Ok fine, if Amazon wants to exercise their rights and publish that eBook, they're more than welcome to, in my opinion. I'm going to exercise my rights and no longer give them, or their various subsidiaries, my business. They're welcome to rethink their choices, but I won't be rethinking mine. What idiots.

Off I go to google up a storm, need to find every company they're affiliated with, plus a list of their advertisers......

I may not be "old school" but I agree that it's pretty damn deplorable.

I haven't read the article.. but your quick description is enough for me.

Sometimes books are written in a humourous light (like how to kill your wife).. this is not one of those things that can be done like that. I think its disgusting, and whoever buys the book should be arrested.

I would go with morally repugnant.

A lot of these guys hook up with women with children. The women assume that step dad or boyfriend is A-OK, and oh , so good with the kids.
