lol

Well pugs for sure should be 14 to 18 pounds, but I have seen 12 pound pugs as well as 22 pound pugs who are very healthy.

My CKC reg pug is 16 pounds and I consider her very nice size.
My other pug daisy is 20 pounds, she is a BYB pug, healthy but def not to standard.

I think a pug under 10 pounds could have big issues, liver issues mainly.

I personally prefer the larger chis and yorkies I have seen (over 7 pounds) but I think anything under 5 pounds is too small and should not be used for breeding.

I agree with Pugs...

I don't know much about other small breeds. Hoping others will posts. Pugs is what I know and learning about

I like my yorkies at about 4 lbs,They can be bred safely if the male is smaller and you have background info on both male and female

If I had one born that never exceeded 3lbs by 12 weeks I continued to hold them back until I knew they were healthy

I love the yorkie breed and pondered and studied and talked to people for a long time before I decided to do it
